Women of Wardrobe, for their 13th Annual Open House and Style Show

On June 15th,

I went to the Women of Wardrobe, for their 13th Annual Open House and Style Show featuring Muse Boutique! I went with my friend Eva Duplan from 

Eva Duplan Illustrations.

  

I do have to say that it was a fun event.  I’m glad that I was able to go and take photos of the cute things that were there.  
Not only that but they had some really good food too. The had really good chicken from Harold's, had great sandwiches from Au Bon pain cafe bakery, and for desert, they had pralines 
 from Eat my Pralines.  

They had really pretty jewelry from Kendra Scott.  If only they had a little sale section. lol 

 Not only did Muse Boutique of Houston provide clothes for the fashion event.(You can check the photos from the fashion show in my portfolio.) They had a little booth there as well.         

Beyond all the glitz and glam they also had some really good speakers too who had great success with Women of Wardrobe and Dress for Success program.

It was a great experience. I was able to meet new people and create new contacts.  Not only that, but I was able to be in a whole new environment than I did when I was just taking nature shots.

I have to thank Eva Dupon, Fashion illustrator, and friend, for inviting me to this event. 

She does a great job drawing her sketches, go and check out her work!

I also want to thank Shalanda Turner, Fashion Blogger at Live Life In Syle and Jillian Goltzman, lifestyle blogger at Cup of Charisma for hanging out with me at the event.

 These ladies are awesome and fun to hang out with!  💖 

The main event happened at Silver Street Studios! 

 Driving there from Vrsi Nightclub in the 

new 2017 Black XT5 was very nice.

One of the people that I met there was Emily Bastedo, life + style blogger at Something Gold, Something Blue.

Another person that I met was Alice Kerley, 

fashion blogger at Lone Star Looking Glass

She is on the right next to her mom, aww how sweet. 💖 

Now that's what I call a girls night out!

I also met with Tammy Smith,

Houston Fashion & Travel Blogger at The Style Accomplice.

Torrid Katy Mills Store Opening

Today my friend Eva Duplan and I went to the Store Opening event at Katy Mills Mall.  I thought it was a good way to practice lighting effects and multiple people.  

That was one heck of a line that they had.  It wouldn't have surprised me if it was going out the door. 

Red Sea event at Oceanlife Aquariaums

On Friday the 20th, My husband wanted to go to the Red Sea Event for free stuff and learning about his new salt water fish tank.  He got me hooked when he said that there was a tea house nearby.  I honestly do recommend Jades Teahouse,http://www.jadesteahouse.com/

I went to Red Sea event at Ocean Life Aquariums, http://www.oceanlife-aquarium.com/, where they had a speaker there. 

Just Fyi, Nick at Oceanlife is an awesome guy who really knows his stuff.

While he was blabbing on and on, I decided to go take a couple of photos of some pretty fish.

Style Pass It On Event

The Style Pass It On Event was hosted by fashion blogger Shalanda Turner with Live Life In Style fashion blogger. 

This was my first event as a professional photographer.  

It was held at Tarakaan Restaurant & Sushi, http://www.tarakaan.com/

was the one that gave me that push from hobbyist to professional.
